Select Genetics’s business is to breed turkeys, hatch their eggs and distribute the progeny (known as poults) to turkey growers throughout the United States and Canada.

Breeders

Turkeys are very similar to wild birds and require space and privacy for nesting purposes. In order to facilitate this need we have dedicated turkey housing in Minnesota, Virginia, Illinois, North Carolina, and Missouri where our breeding turkeys are raised and lay their eggs.

Hatcheries

Eggs from the breeder farms are collected and then delivered to one of our hatcheries to be incubated and hatched before final delivery to our customer’s farms who will then raise and sell them.
